"Hey folks, I've just heard a rumour (on very good authority) that David Hughes will be playing on Friday at this year's Cropredy with some of the artists featured on his forthcoming album; Gerry Conway, Spencer Cozens and Jacque McShee.

The main site is not open until Thursday, but early arrivals can camp
at a site in Great Bourton, half a mile from the Festival site.

It is confirmed there will be a Wadworth's Bar at Cropredy this year -

The emergency services will be on site from Friday morning -
before that, there's a Doctor's Surgery in Cropredy.
Transport:
Timetable for the festival weekend -
Thursday - hourly from Banbury at xx15 past the hour from the Rail Station,
xx20 from the bus station, direct to Cropredy - arrive xx45.....from 1315 to
1815.
These return from the Brasenose to town immediately at xx45 - arrive
xx15.....
There's a last service from bus station *only* at 2330 arriving Cropredy
at 0050 -
but the gig featuring Barrage that night at the Mill has been cancelled...
Friday - again hourly services at xx15 / xx25 from rail / bus station arriving
Cropredy at xx45, returning immediately to town - from 1015 to 1915.
A last service *from* Cropredy to town at 0030.
Saturday - again hourly services at xx15 / xx25 returning to town immediately
at xx45, from 0815 until 1815, with a last town bound service again at 0030
from the Brasenose.
Sunday - Hourly service *from* Cropredy at xx30 arriving bus station at xx55
& at rail station at xx00 from 0830 until 1330.
For those attending the cricket match, I expect that they'll carry you up to
Cropredy if you ask the driver as they drop off....
